Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

 

  • Minimum age: 21 years

  • License: Valid Indian Driving License with 1 year of driving experience required.

  • Mandatory KYC: Aadhaar, PAN, Address Proof.

  • Foreign nationals: International Driving Permit + Passport.

 

2. Booking & Payment

 

  • Booking confirmed only after advance payment.

  • Rates based on hourly, daily, or monthly plans.

  • Right to cancel in case of invalid docs or incomplete payment.

 

3. Vehicle Usage

 

  • Cars strictly for personal use (Motor Vehicles Act, 1988).

  • Customer responsible for traffic law compliance.

  • Rash driving, drunk driving, overspeeding = penalties + termination.

 

4. Kilometers & Fuel

 

  • Free km as per plan, extra at ₹25/km.

  • Fuel is the customer’s responsibility.

 

5. Pickup & Drop

 

  • Pickup/drop at hubs or customer address (₹25/km extra).

  • Late return = overtime charges.

 

6. Damage, Insurance & Liability

 

  • Customer responsible until return.

  • Accident/theft/damage: customer pays charges not covered by insurance.

  • Prohibited: No smoking, hazardous goods, or pets unless approved.

 

7. Refunds & Cancellations

 

  • Cancellation before pickup: charges apply.

  • No refund for early return.

  • Refunds processed in 7–10 days.

 

8. Documents & Verification

 

  • Consent to e-KYC verification under IT Act, 2000.

  • Fake documents = cancellation + legal action.

 

9. Company Rights

 

  • ChaloCar may cancel/refuse booking anytime.

  • Terms may update without notice.

 

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

 

  • Governed by Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

  • Mumbai courts jurisdiction only.

  • Force Majeure applies.
